Your VIN, or Vehicle Identification Number, is located in multiple places on your car. It should be in the following two places on just about every car:

• Location #1: At the bottom of your windshield, on the driver side, right where the windshield touches the car, there should be a small opening with a long number listed inside. Usually the sticker is white in color and also has a long barcode above it, however this is not always the case
• Location #2: In the door jam of the driver door. To find it, open the driver door as wide as possible, and look in the door jam area. The VIN should be located here, either printed on a white label or stamped into a metal plate.

How do I find my Engine Size?

The size of your engine is located under the hood, on your Emissions Decal. This decal should be located somewhere on the actual engine block. If you can’t find it, don’t worry, because the engine size information is also included in your VIN.
